HANK AND MY HONKY TONK HEROES
Rating: G
HANK AND MY HONKY TONK HEROES features Jason Petty who performed as Hank Williams in our production of LOST HIGHWAY: THE MUSIC AND LEGEND OF HANK WILLIAMS six years ago. Since last working at Circa '21, Mr Petty has performed the same role off-Broadway for which he was given five nominations in New York's award ceremonies for Best Actor. Now touring with his own show, HANK AND MY HONKY TONK HEREOS, Mr. Petty showcases his uncanny ability to capture the sounds of Hank Williams. Mr. Petty re-creates such Williams' hits as "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", "Your Cheatin' Heart", "Hey Good Lookin", "Kaw-Liga", and "Cold Cold Heart". This astonishing show is more than just a Hank Williams tribute. Mr. Petty pays tribute to stars that influenced Hank and those stars that Hank influenced. Backed by an four piece band, this show will make you cry, smile, clap your hands and stomp your feet with excitement.
