Where are you located?

Our historic 1920’s theatre is located in the heart of downtown Rock Island, Illinois! Rock Island is part of the Quad Cities which spans both sides of the Mississippi River in Iowa and Illinois.

Easily accessible via I-74 and I-280, we are located about 2 1/2 hours from Chicago, Il, 1 1/2 hours from Peoria, Il and 3 hours from Des Moines, IA.

What’s the dress code?

We don’t have a specific dress code. Most people dress in business casual attire, but you’ll see everything from jeans to dresses!

Where do I park?

There is on street parking available all around the theatre and downtown Rock Island area. If you have someone in your party with mobility issues, you can drop them off in front of the theatre and then park your car.

Is there a parking pass for matinees?

There is no parking pass for matinees. If you’re coming for a matinee, be sure to arrive after 11:30am and park in one of the 4-hour parking spots around the theatre and downtown Rock Island area. If you arrive before 11:30, we cannot guarantee you will not be ticketed.

Is there a special menu for people with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Our menus always include vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, garlic-free and onion-free options. If you have restrictions beyond what's available on the menu or if you need a vegan meal, please call the ticket office at 309-786-7733 x 2. 48-hours notice required in order to prepare vegan meals. No further special requests can be accommodated.

Are there age requirements for your shows?

Circa ‘21 Mainstage Productions are full-scale productions. Including dinner, preshow, the production and intermission, evenings can last up to 5 hours. For this reason, children under the age of 4 are not admitted to the theatre.

However, all ages are invited to attend our hour-long Children’s Shows. Please note, everyone needs a ticket for Children’s Shows, regardless of age.

WHO ARE THE BOOTLEGGERS?

Our performing waitstaff! We are one of only two theaters in the country that hosts a performing waitstaff! Our Bootleggers will serve you delicious food, dazzle you with their voices and ensure that your evening is a delight!

How much should i tip my bootlegger?

We believe that tipping should reflect the quality of your service. For that reason, we do not add gratuity to the ticket price of individual reservations. A gratuity of 15%-20% of your total bill (which includes approximately half of your ticket price plus desserts and drinks) is considered appropriate.
